Whether you would like to be able to talk in a more relaxed manner with your in-laws or improve your speaking skills for study or work, this conversation course of the University of Groningen Language Centre is guaranteed to advance your conversational skills in English.
Who is this course for?
This course is intended for participants with an upper-intermediate or advanced level of English at CEFR level B2 or C1.

What is the study load of the course?
The course consists of six 1.5-hour lessons. You should expect to spend a total of 18 hours on independent study in order to stay on track with the course.
During this six-week course, you will be working on improving your speaking skills through various exercises such as role plays, language games, debates and teamwork activities. The course aims to help you speak more fluently and confidently. In this way, you will expand your vocabulary and revise, practise and improve your knowledge of grammar that you’ve already acquired over the years.
This course offers you the ideal opportunity to improve your English speaking skills in a fun and relaxed manner by working together with the teacher and your classmates.

There is no book requested for this course. The course leader will provide you with course materials via the Brightspace online learning environment of the University of Groningen.
