Do you already know a little Spanish and want to build your confidence before advancing to the next level? Whether you would like to talk about yourself more easily, have smoother conversations with friends, or use Spanish more effectively for your studies or work, this 4-day Spanish language booster is the perfect way to achieve that!
In a relaxed and supportive environment, you will practice your Spanish with a native-speaking teacher and fellow students. You will discover that improving your language skills can be fun, engaging, and motivating.
Who is this course for?
This course is intended for participants who speak Spanish at CEFR level A1 or beginner A2. The course is taught in Spanish as much as possible, with explanations provided in Dutch or English depending on the group participants. It is therefore important that you have a good command of English in order to participate in the course.

What will you learn in this course?
During four lively 3-hour lessons, you will build your speaking skills through engaging activities such as:
- Role plays and language games
- Mini-dialogues
- Vocabulary and pronunciation exercises
- Exercises to help you learn Spanish expressions, idioms, and proverbs
These activities will help you expand your vocabulary, improve your grasp of key grammar rules, and refine your pronunciation.
How many hours of independent study are required?
You will continue to improve your Spanish between lessons! You will receive fun, practical tools, such as listening exercises and short video clips, to improve your comprehension and pronunciation at home. For the final lesson you will be asked to prepare a short presentation. You should expect to spend a total of 18 hours on self-study to keep up with the course.
What will you be able to do after the course?
By the end of the Speak Up! Spanish elementary course, you will feel much more confident speaking Spanish in everyday life. You will be able to:
- Introduce yourself without hesitation and talk about your work, studies and interests
- Talk about yourself and your experiences
- Use useful phrases while travelling
