During the English General Language Skills courses of the University of Groningen Language Centre, attention will be on speaking, writing, reading and listening with some focus on vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation.
Who is this course for?

This course is intended for participants with an advanced level of English at CEFR level C1. During the course, we work towards level C1+. 

If you are unsure whether this level is right for you, you can test yourself online using the placement test! Alternatively, make an appointment for the online consultation to get personal advice from our teacher.

What is the study load of the course?

The course comprises 12 lessons. One lesson lasts two hours in a course on location and 1.5 hours in an online course. You should expect to spend a total of 24 hours on independent study in order to stay on track with the course.
