This course is designed to help you enhance and improve your existing skills so that you're more employable and ready for job opportunities. We use a practical approach where you'll tackle real-life tasks like job interviews and problem-solving. You'll receive valuable strategies, tips, and feedback to boost your employability. Our goal is to equip you with the tools you need to succeed in the job market.
Who is the course aimed at?
This course is intended for participants with an advanced level of English at CEFR level B2 or C1, who want to improve their communication skills during job applications held in English. The course focuses specifically on the international job market in the Netherlands.

What will you learn during the course?
This course consists of six lessons of two contact hours. You will also spend a total of 12 hours on self-study. During the course you will learn to:
prepare for an interview
promote yourself effectively during an interview and answer questions using the STAR format
write or update your resume, LinkedIn profile, and cover email
use advanced presentation techniques
effectively participate in group discussions.
What will you be able to do after the course?
By the end of the course, you'll be adept at navigating the job application process in the Netherlands, which includes:
identifying key requirements in a job specification
crafting compelling CVs and cover letters
excelling in interviews

A Rosetta Stone independent study account is a great tool to use alongside the course. You can also use it to keep working on your language skills even after the course has finished. Please note that a Rosetta Stone account is not compulsory for the course and will not be used by the teacher, but it can give your language learning an extra boost!
