Who is this course for?

This course is for beginners of Korean with CEFR level A1. During the course, we work towards level A1/A2. The course is taught in Korean as much as possible, with explanations provided in English when necessary. The teaching material is in English. It is therefore important that you have a good command of English in order to participate in the course.

What is the study load of this course?

The course consists of 12 lessons of two contact hours. You should expect to spend a total of 30 hours on independent study in order to stay on track with the course. Self-study includes studying the Korean letters, their pronunciation, and their meaning. In addition, you will complete certain writing, grammar, and vocabulary exercises  from the course book.
